Quick question - Quick answer

Do the love heart and sweetheart armor both have the heart visual effects? And which is more viable for a FOnewearl?
Yes they both have the "heart visual effects" and I believe FOnewearl could wear both as one is a frame and the other is a shield.

Thanks!! But I thought safety heart was the shield and the other two were armor's. One gives a def boost and the other gives other players atp boost but lowers def.

Safety heart is the heart-shaped shield that gives ata when equipped with rambling may, love heart and sweetheart are the armors, of which sweetheart gives you a stackable atp boost if you’re playing with male characters and stay close to them (very close, like almost standing on them).

Okay thanks, so which armor would be more viable for a FOnewearl? And I think we established both have visual effect.

Foney's ATP is so low that she won't be attacking much for damage - so Safety Heart/Sweetheart/Rambling May aren't all that effective for her. Foney is best in hard support and throwing out Demon's (and other specials) everywhere (highest FO ATA). ATA also makes her good for Hell/Arrest/etc.

SOF/Bringer's/Holy Ray/Hell Cards, etc. would be better investments than a Sweetheart IMO.

Hm, there's no great single armor for her. Aura Field high DFP, Brightness Circle has nice EDK/ELT. Tempest/Congeal/Ignition Cloaks give spell damage boosts.

I find these armors useful on FOnewearl depending on the situation:

-Ignition Cloak-
A must-have for episode 4.

-Tempest Cloak-
A bit more situational, but you should still have one lying around.

-Congeal Cloak-
Same here.

-Sacred Cloth-
Underrated armor. Built-in Cure/Paralysis can be pretty handy in certain quests.

-Lieutenant Mantle-
Built-in Trap Vision. Can be very useful in some quests. When playing in a group, tell your android players you're using this since you will detonate their traps with your techs.

-Sweetheart-
Yes, FOney ATP is really bad. However, this can still be nice to have in quests where none of the other armors are needed. Vivienne, for example, can get quite a boost out of it. Also, the heart effect is just really cute.

-Crimson Coat-
Only for locking Vol Opt. FOney cannot use Excalibur, but with this armor a Red Saber will do the job.

-Brightness Circle-
Well, I never use this one, but I still wanted to put it here. Female characters cannot use Dress Plate, sadly, so this is the best EDK a FOney can get out of a Frame.

-Virus Armor: Lafuteria-
Looks super cool and has the best DEF out of any armor for non-android characters. I'm not a fan of Aura Field due to the TP drain.

I'd say that you should probably get an Ignition Cloak first. Sweetheart is really kinda niche on a FOney and the PDs needed for it are better spent on essential items like a Slicer of Fanatic with hit, V-units, S-Ranks, and so on.

Great info! Thank you!

Which type of character is best at clearing large amounts of enemies the fastest? For instance, if solo, which type of character would get the fastest time on Maximum Attack E? I guessing a force?

Depends on the area and gear, but yes, fos and ramar(l) would likely be the best at soloing MAEs.

Hucast
Racast
no Fo boosts. so Foney or maybe fonewm at times

You can buy a Halloween cookie from the gold badge store. What is it and what is it used for?
It's used for the halloween quests from last year which have increased xp and drop rates. Your party needs one cookie for each run

Can a Melee FO (FOmar) do respectable damage with enough %hit? As in, enough to justify attempting over something like a FOnewm supporting with demons and hell when techs aren't great.

If so, in what situations would you even want to melee, and with which weapons?

FOmar can definitely do enough damage with respectable hit. They have the highest ATP out of any FO (breaking 1000) and can make great use of it.

Melee/ATP damage is better than Tech/MST damage in most situations, even for a force.

high hit Charge Vulcans and a high hit Excalibur would be a good place to start.

Situations to melee would definitely vary. There is not a single boss fight in which you would rather damage the boss with techs over raw damage in Ultimate. Exceptions being phase 1 of Saint Million / Shambertin where you can use Rabarta or Gizonde to destroy all his crystals evenly since tech damage is flat.

(Gifoie on Darvants during Falz and spamming foie when Falz is invincible on the last phase as well.)

In general, the "big" enemies will be disposed of best by raw damage or demons. Such as Gibbles, Indi Belras, Delbiters, etc...

FOmar also has the innate gifoie boost, meaning they can still destroy with gifoie regardless.

Gifoie is really the most important damage tech in the game (you will find constant use for it in ep4 and consistent use in ep1) so you get the boon of having a boost to gifoie while having the highest ATP of any FO.

While FOmar has the lowest ATA in the game, they can still offer Demon's support. Not as well as FOnewm, but more than good enough to be useful. A 50 hit Bringer's Rifle, Demon's Cards, and a Slicer of Fanatic are all viable for FOmar.

You will want to use the SNS glitch with the slicer of fanatic so you make sure you maximize those demons' hits.

I would personally say that these three melee weapons would be the most common to use.

-Excalibur (Berserk special, saber animation but hits up to three targets. Great for bosses like De Rol Le, or just playing clean up)

-Charge Vulcans (best single target damage weapon for any class really)

-Diska of Braveman (With enough hit and a Thirteen equipped, you can SNS it and do a lot of damage to bosses with multiple points of contact or groups of enemies)

tl;dr: FOmar is probably the best all around FO in the game with the right gear and is the best choice for making a melee FO despite really low ATA. You will want high hit weapons to shine.

Also, I am not a FOmar expert. The following thread could probably help you immensely.

https://www.pioneer2.net/community/threads/pits-fomar-guide.1123/

It also explains how SNS works if you are confused.

Define respectable.

A fomar does ok in vanilla. Hes probably the best choice in certain quests. But uh generally speaking in a casual environment, I would maybe just stick to nukey FOs. Unless you want to play a shitty ramarl with NO ata (163?) and like 1k atp. Fomar is my favorite class but that's more or less what it feels like.
