Hi everyone I have two questions about the Agastya MAG (or rather MAG cells in general since I know nothing about them):
1.) I already have a Diwari MAG that's Level 200 (and has the typical 5/145/50/0 stats), could I give the Liberta Kit to change it or would it *only* work with MAGs that are at Level 50 and I have to build it up from there?

2.) If I have to build it up from 50, I'm kind of looking to make it into a single stat Mag with the highest amount of POW, any advice (or guide) to go about this (if possible)?

Thanks~

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that mag cells can be used on any mag that isn't a rare mag, regardless of level. If you had a 3rd evolution level 200 mag, you could use the Liberta Kit on it, but I don't think you can use it on any level Diwari since it's a 4th evolution mag. This server does have a sandbox mode if you want to just spawn a diwari and liberta kit and try it yourself.

1.)You cannot evolve a rare mag or celled mag with the exception of the Mark 3 - Dreamcast evolution chain. But for any non-rare mag or celled mag, as long as the proper conditions are met, you can evolve them.

2.) There's three kind of max Pow mag possible:
  1. Console mags, which are obtained by using a Kit of Mark 3 on a level 5~9 mag, can have any stats on them. Hence 195 Pow mag is possible, at the cost of no Photon Blasts.
  2. Banking method. If you bank a mag, all its odd values will round down. This means you can avoid raising some of the stats more than you usually can. This takes 3 times more the time to raise the mag since you could only feed it once instead of three times every 3 and a half minutes.
  3. Normal method: see this guide perhaps. I haven't tried this myself.
Note: any mag above level 50 will have charts that allows you to raise any single stats and not other stats (with the exception of DEF maybe). For example, the banking method will only be necessary until 50 at most. Console mags are good if you solo with it and you don't plan on using PBs, but in a party you'll usually want to have PBs for chains.

Personally I recommend just making a high Pow mag with some DEX, since having some DEX is good, slightly eases the amount of /arms units you need. It depends on your class though.

Thanks! I actually forgot this server had that feature so I may give it a whirl some time this weekend and experiment with a few things haha.

Thank you for the run down on MAG Cells and the possible routes for a POW MAG, I appreciate it.

I actually ran into that guide and I was like, "How come console mags are able to be 5/195/0/0 but then every other 'single stat mag' had like odd/strange levels?" If the single stat doesn't work out, what should my DEX/POW spread look like for an RAMarl (no mats used)?

@Gone I personally made a high power mag then just hunted God arms starting out. You can find them in very hard mode Redria by hunting the pan arms in ttf (don't let them split) use a hell weapon!

Also of note I heard/read somewhere that if you confuse Pan Arms, they won't split. Is this true?

It's true. They won't split while they're confused. Useful in Ep2 C-Mode, as those have low enough DFP to be killed without splitting.

Personally I would go for like 20~30 DEX and the rest in POW. That's just my opinion though.

PSO-W lists Solferino's special as double resta range, but the range looks unchanged when equipped. Working as intended? Am I missing something?

Solferino's tech boost is +30% range, so if you cast Resta with it equipped you'll get the extra range. Solferino's Lv. 3(?) Resta special itself ignores all Resta boost however, including Solferino's own tech boost I believe. Which means if you use its special on a FOmarl/FOnewearl you'll get a Resta with same range as a unboosted FOmar/FOnewm.

Christmas Present is based on the 2015 Event item pool (items from Very Hard to Ultimate). Is there a compiled list so that I know if it's worth it for me to grind to 15k? Little above 8k atm so not sure if I want to grind hard for that last reward or not..

Hi all, I'm wondering if there's some way to get confirmation of the speed boosts given by the Domaru/Nimaidou series of armor by reading the code or something. I really have a hard time seeing the difference between one level to the next, personally, plus I don't have all these to test anyway.

I've seen two different listings (listed in /Battle terms):
Black Odoshi Domaru: General or Devil
Red Odoshi Domaru: Devil or God
BORN: God or Heavenly
BOVN: All agree that this is Heavenly, with the extra bonuses for a few weapons

I believe it's Devil/God/God/Heavenly, but my source is just wikiwiki.jp/psobb/ and not 100% sure it's right. If BORN actually has Heavenly, people would talk about it I think, probably not so.

Thanks for the reply! So that's the third interpretation I've seen! :D
Just to Clarify, PSO World and an old spreadsheet hosted on SCHT back in the day were the other sources.
