ATP bug.

I just logged on to do some unsealing when I noticed I suddenly could not equip a lame on my FOnewm.
With the gear I had equipped I usually have 814 ATP, I thought it was weird so decided to deposit my Gifoie Merge to replace it with Red Ring (for the extra ATP). After depositing the Gifoie Merge to my bank, and before equipping the Red Ring I noticed my ATP shot back up to its normal value.
I was not able to capture the bug but I will give as much info on my character as possible.

The lame in my inventory was [20/0/0/0|0] with no grind.

Limiters can change your stats in weird ways. Try reequipping the adept and/or heavenly/power so it calculates them after the limiters. It also seems to reset to recalculating the limiters last every time you level up until you exit to the lobby. If you just reequip the attack stuff afterwards you can work around that though, too.
