DS4 Controller Support Bug Introduced

Since the most recent update, the Ephinea client registers the Sony Dualshock 4 controller's D-Pad-UP as pressed at all times. Thus, menus cannot be navigated.

I isolated this bug to the Ephinea client by replicating it on both my Mac and Windows partitions, which utilise separate drivers. Further, I eliminated the possibility of it being a hardware malfunction by testing the controller with Fortnite, where the issue is not present.

AFAIK the only intentional change in the latest update was enhanced draw distance. However, changing the draw distance has no effect in mitigating this bug.

Windows 10/Mac High Sierra 10.13.4

It’s a waste of time posting this as it wasn’t the update that caused this, despite what you think was just an incredibly awesome investigation by you.

Hope you do figure out the problem, though.

Good luck! (Not a bug. Topic locked.)

You need to emulate a Xbox 360 controller. Up being held has always been a thing with ds4 and pso when using a USB cable. Install inputmapper (additional app for ds4) and make sure you select emulate Xbox 360 controller.
