As long as you keep the stats balanced, the Mag should still evolve into RATI if you evolve it using the correct class/section ID. Most important factor (to my knowledge,) is to balance the stats, and evolve using the correct character once you are about to reach lv100. I, just this minute...

As a force, I'm naturally searching the shops every chance I could for some new disks. When do they restock on their items, or what can I do to trigger the resets? I know logging out/in will, but is there another way?

My only suggestion would be to add a way to control the camera. Too many times have I been in a situation that would have saved me a headache if I was able to move the camera around my character. I don't think a feature like this has ever been added to a PSO, and I see it being very beneficial...
