What book are you reading?

I've been reading The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling recently. It's pretty good, but a lot of it is just interpersonal drama, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're not into that type of book

last book I read was prometheus rising.
first half was interesting but second got too silly.

Been going through the Dark Tower series again.

Ahhh this book looks really interesting. Going to have to buy a copy. Over 1000 pages... goddamn!

I also have to continue with the Dune series. Read the first trilogy recently, need to move onto the next trilogy.

The Dark Tower series was awesome, couldn't stop reading those books! as well as a couple other King books (Dreamcatcher, Salem's lot)

I started Neromancer but never finished it..

Dune, though, I have read. most of the books. They got pretty twisted a few books in, but i loved them!

Trying to read Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson right now, but its just not as good as Elantris was(or the Stormlight Archive, for that matter!). I got into Sanderson because i'm a big Wheel of Time fan (author Robert Jordan passed away, Sanderson finished the last books).

Anyways, check out the Wheel of Time series for a great epic fantasy!

Tons of other stuff i've read that i'd like to go on about but i wont, haha.

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is great, been rereading it lately.
tried getting into The King in Yellow but its a hard read, too old timey in terms of vernacular.

hahaha, i downloaded neuromancer but havent got around to reading it yet, leme know how that goes.
Dune too actually, but thats a guaranteed read always hear people bringing that up.

Actually if you can find it I've heard Earth: the pleiadian keys to the living library is pretty good.
A friend of mine went out of his way to get me to check it out.
I only read an excerpt from it, like a chapter or something, its really new age-y stuff but if your into that, its interesting.

Also if your a conspiracy nut like I am, The Saturn Deathcult is another cool read, you can just go to the website and read it.

Yeah, I agree; Warbreaker wasn't really up to par with a lot of his other books (Stormlight being far and away the best series; but he's only ~75% percent through the first draft of the next one >.>). Steelheart was a quick read, but much more young adult rather than fantasy. If you really enjoy stormlight, you should check out the Lightbringer series by Brent Weeks, or if you want something darker (but incredibly well-done) try the Broken Empire by Mark Lawrence.

Thanks, Eva. I was looking for something to try.
