Talking to players in game from Lobby/website

Sometimes you can't reach certain persons in game since they are not in lobby. Might it be possible that you can talk to someone or send a message to a person in game from the lobby? I know you can mail others when they are on your gc but if they are not... it is not possible...

Is this realistic, wishable or achievable. To prevent spamming you can always use a cooldown ofcourse...

Could be handy indeed, but I doubt it'll be implemented. We already have the shoutbox and the forum to talk with everyone at anytime (if they're logged in of course)

It's possible, because I know Eden did it, although @tofuman would need to give you the details.

Eden's method was somewhat roundabout though, not sure if Tofuman would want to implement something a bit more realistic. I'd personally like the idea if it was implemented with some finesse myself.

I think it's s neat idea as long as your able to block users who spam it from mailing you.
