PlayStation DualShock 4 controller with keyboard inputs?

So I'm having issues with my PS DS 4... When I plug it into my computer and use DS4windows or InputMapper, I can use it easily in PSOBB with Pad Configurations. Problem is that you can't really make any changes in there.
PSOBB doesn't feel L2, R2 for example.. And in InputMapper or DS4windows I can make those buttons become 0-9 on the keyboard! Very useful for this game... BUT.. the game doesn't recognise the third party program remapping when "emulating a virtual controller".
Anyone know a way around this?

I use a ds4 and I am able to use a functionality similar to what you have described by utilizing joy 2 key.

You should give it a shot. Hopefully it will work for you too ^_^
