What is going to be talked about here are things that if you've been in the server for a while and actively trading you have probably figured out on your own through trial and error, but there are new players that need a little guidance on how to find what they need in order for them to spend their hard earned currency. First things first we are going to go over the most commonly used currency here on Ephinea; the Photon Drop aka the PD.

The PD is the crux of most people's decision making here on Ephinea. The Photon Drop is the primary currency due to what it can be used for. There is already and incredibly comprehensive and well written wiki page as to what the Photon Drop can be used for and if you are new to trading you should look it over to understand why people even want this thing. You can find it here or in the title before the discussion began.

If you read or understood any of that wiki you should now know that this resource is sought after and is constantly disappearing from the server due to how it works so it makes people seek even more out constantly. You are going to see that primarily all items that are listed for direct sale or for auction almost always ask for this currency first and foremost before the rest are brought up into question. All other currencies are compared to this item directly in one way or another so once you understand its value then you understand why everything is compared to it.

You already know what this is. This is the currency the base game uses for pretty much everything else. The photon drop had to be explained a bit due to the fact that offline you couldn't really spend it on its intended use, but even if you were offline only you know what this meseta about. You may be surprised to hear this but people will buy meseta from you in exchange for PDs or items. Outside of the fact that you can use it in the ingame shop the humble meseter is also used as ammunition for plenty of end game weapons. The weapons that use charge as an attack boost are very popular due to the fact it keeps people from having to sacrifice their TP or their HP and if that wasn't enough two of the strongest multi hitting weapons in the game cost meseta to use optimally with one in particular being incredibly hungry for it.

Unlike PDs the value of meseta has some variability to it and there is no hard set value to it when it comes to people trading. Its also something you will more than likely only sell to those seeking it since the people wanting it are usually the people who burn through it using their weapons, but in some instances where using an entire PD to completely a trade is not deemed a fair trade people use meseta to essnetially break-a-pd down similar to cents to a dollar. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with what weapons use charge and how it functions between weapons by clicking this link here. This is not the hard amount it is valued at, but this is what i've seen people trade recently for meseta.

-Halloween Cookie-

The Halloween Cookie is the most valuable event currency that is traded around in terms of how many PDs people are willing to trade for it and for good reason. They are the key component for the halloweeen even that goes on during October. This item pretty much unlocks the most mob dense quest you can do that would be backed by the most insane rates you can have. People are willing to trade PDs for this currency and trade entire items just for this in large quantities. The value of everything except PDs can vary, but more often than not this item is valued between 4-5PDs depending on the time of the year and scarcity of it. Please consult the wiki page on what this item provides and how it is obtained here.

-Anniversary Event Badges-

Anniversary Badges are a set of currency that can be found during Ephinea's anniversary event. There are three primary badges that are used for general trade which are the Bronze, Silver, and Gold badges. There is a 4th badge called the Platinum badge, but that badge is incredibly rare and is usually used by the finder to obtain an incredibly rare item or auctioned off to the highest bidder. These badges are a lucrative currency to obtain since they can be traded around to in-game NPCs to obtain certain items that may be not be easily obtainable during regular play. You will find people more than willing to buy them from you in exchange for their PDs so they can trade them in for whatever various things they are looking for. If you need to know where they can be traded in and for what items you can click this link here, but if you need to know how th even operates and how the badges work in general click this link here.

Now these are generally how they are valued in trade, but like with anything else you may see flucuation depending on availability, what a person wants, or time of the year.

Bronze Badges - 16:1PD
Silver Badges - 10:1PD
Gold Badges - 1:1PD

Bronze Badges despite the in-game NPC trading 10 Bronze badges for a Silver badge they tend to be worth more than you would think simply because you cannot turn silver badges back into bronze badges, bronze badges are not the reward at the end of a quest in Ultimate mode, and they can be turned into Addslots which are an incredibly obnoxious thing to look for later on. Since Addslots are generally sold 2:1PD then most people just accept that 16:1PD in terms of Bronze badges make sense.

-Eggs and Coal-

These last two event items are not found in the same event, but they are very similar in their function and are also much more rare to see in trades on the forums/discord since people tend to burn through them. Both Event Eggs and Coal are the currency used in their respective events to participate in gambling. They are both traded in order to spin the wheel on rare items as rewards. The methods to obtain these currencies during the event are not the same so how they are looked at and priced vary pretty differently between eachother, but like I mentioned earlier these sets of currency arent regularly used in trades as much as the previously mentioned ones because they're primarily used to gamble on very rare items so most people end up burning through them because Gamblor commands them unless they are being held deliberately for a future trade. You can expect these prices to vary a little just like the rest of the previously listed items but the prices for these items tends to stick around this amount.

Coal - 8:1PD
Event Egg - 2:1PD

If you need any further information on the actual events themselves you can find the wiki page for the Easter Event here and the wiki page for the Christmas Event here.
