Hi guys,
After all these years, i finally decided to make a Ko-Fi support page!
Over the years I've been struggling to find the motivation to actually finish and release things.
As much as i love the game, I don't really play PSO anymore. I mean I'll never truly quit but I've been around for 20+ years...
That said, I'm still very passionate about Ephinea's development and i still like to experiment with digital art for PSO from time to time.
I really wanted to provide big HD packs but I lost focus and energy! For examples, ~6 years ago after i released my HD upscaled version of Forest, I then proceeded to do the same with Cave. By the time it was ~60-70% finished, better models and AI emerged and it already looked outdated to me. I've poured so many hours in this that i felt discouraged
. I also worked on a Pioneer II overall by remaking textures myself but it took an infinite amount of time and effort and i finally gave up because it was too much work.

But lately, I've been on a journey with ChatGPT and it turns out i found myself having fun interacting with it! I kinda found an ok workflow and regained some interest in remastering some textures for PSO.
So i decided to start again from scratch, this time on a smaller scale.
Right now, instead of working on full areas, my goal is to work on textures that are really noticeable and would benefit the most from a remastering, starting with all the skyboxes in the game! Let me know if you have any suggestions on what to remaster next.
Note that there's still a ton of photoshop edits to make them look and feel like PSO and make them seamless as ChatGPT doesn't know how to make a sky seamless.
Now, I'm currently in a precarious position and it's getting hard to combine this time comsuming passion with real life and not feeling anxiety. So if you liked the things i made in the past or if you'd like to see more, you can now send me a little tip of your chosen amount (or become a member if you really want to help me long term with paid solutions). Anything will help really and will go right through my heart! Of course everything i make will always stay free forever for everyone regardless of donations.
You don't need to pay or be a member to check my posts, progress or content there. I may even share a little bit of music, tho i'm really shy about that.
I'm also thinking about letting high tier members download uncompressed .png versions of the textures to be used in dolphin, VR chat/fan games or even personal projects?
Keep in mind my Ko-Fi page is still a work in progress, so any feedback from the community, even negatives, will be very much appreciated!

I'm well over the hundreds hours on this handmade remastered blue box alone and i'm not even sure i would be able to replicate it for the other boxes.
