Friend can't connect to website

I have a friend trying to download Ephinea to play PSO for the first time but any time he tries to connect to the website it says it cannot be reached.
Any idea how to fix this?
 
Probably something they'd have to resolve with their ISP... or perhaps home internet equipment.

Have them do a tracert to ephinea4.pioneer2.net and paste the results here.

We can see if we can help, but most likely, it'd be something they would need to talk to their ISP about or figure out what's going on in their own internal network.
 
Ill have him do that when i can talk to him again, I don't know if its worth saying but he is just down the road from me and we have the same ISP so i don't know why it would just be him

Yeah, so it looks like it doesn't go past their ISP for some reason.

They're gunna have to call Charter on that one.
 
Mew knows this subject has been beaten to death with ONE particular problem, as well! Be sure your friend has ALL his virus protections TURNED OFF for the install!! Ephinea, for whatever reason is viewed as a TROJAN or Spyware yadda yadda yadda to WinDefender! He can redeploy his virus protection afterwards, just advise him to set Ephinea in his virus exclusions when scans pick it up as a threat. Good Luck, stay SANE!
