So I didn't see an open thread in regards to this, so I apologize in advance if there is one.
(Maybe it was mentioned on Discord? Not sure as AIM is as far as my messaging program experience goes >_> )

During the event we noticed that items were disappearing from the floor. This was very easy to observe due to the boosted DAR with the event and everything being contained on one map for MAE quests. It appears as though this only occurs for player one however. Other players we have played with noticed the same thing as well >_< You can very easily replicate and observe this with the item reader. I exceed the max in one MU 1 run for HBR with only a 30% DAR boost.

It looks like it is still occurring so I just wanted to make sure that the playerbase was aware ^_^

Not leaving things to pick up later and picking up those meseta drops are easy ways to avoid headaches later >_>

There is a limit of 50 items per floor in the game.

The server stores a lot more but once you no longer see the items, you cannot pick them up.

Has always been a part of PSO. Pick your stuff up or risk losing it.

This also happens if you're not player one, you can see items physically disappear if there are 50 or more on your client, although not sure if the item reader updates.

The addon reads the memory of the game so yeah, it removes those that disappear as the existing ones are pushed "down" and new ones are added.

No, this "problem" only started occurring after the radius restriction for PSO2 drop style was removed (Update of 28/08/17). It was very easily noticeable at the time because of the very high DAR boost we were getting for the event.

This is a proof picture that player 1 older items are being deleted after 50 items while players 2-4 are not encountering that issue (those screenshots were taken on September 6th, after the update):

Before the update, I could go back to the first room and it would be filled with items the same as players 2-4. Right after the update of 28/08/2017, items would start getting deleted when I was the game creator (player 1) once my item reader would reach about 35-40 items (50 - all the items I picked up during the quest). Other players had noticed that problem at the time as well (@Escher).

Just to prove our point even further, we just redid a test running Mop Up 1 (current HBR where we both have ~30% DAR boost).

This is how the first room of the quest looked for the both of us right after clearing it:

This is how the first room of the quest looked after clearing the entire quest (including breaking all the boxes, killing every enemy and NOT picking up ANY item that dropped):

Player 2

After clearing the quest, my item reader (player 2) goes all the way to #82 and the items from the first room are still there (notice the very same items on the item reader in the "before" and "after" screenshots, just different numbers). Elenor's item reader (player 1) only goes to #50 and the items in the first room disappeared.

Neither of these statements are accurate. Please see the post from @Lileya for screenshots showing that there is neither a cap of 50 items per floor for her nor is this an occurrence that is happening for every player in game on Ephinea at present. You can literally replicate the result in five minutes if you don't believe me XD

Very true, but this is not a case of that limit being reached. I mean you aren't implying that MU 1 is a monster spam quest with tons of drops right? XD To me, its more like paint drying but I want my 1975 agito ;P

In all seriousness I know you guys do a amazing job, so I hope it wasn't coming off as a critique or anything :( Even if you can't fix it, no biggie. Just wanted to make sure that other players were aware as this is not how the game has functioned in the past.

Does meseta count for that 50 items limit though ? As it seems that @Lileya 's drop checker is full of em' and going further than 50 items.

Edit: I know that meseta also have a limit on the floor. Does meseta/items share a separate max count ?

What about the items that aren't meseta in those "drops".
Meseta technically isn't an "item" anyway as it uses a separate type of data in storage.
I guess if you remove those meseta drops you'd be left with 50 items and that's what was being asked...
So... I guess what @Jyuki said is true.

Whatever is going on, this isn't a bug. The server doesn't cause the items to disappear, the client makes the items disappear itself due to too many things being on the ground. Whether it's something that doesn't occur in another version of the game or whatever is true or not, then it's something PSOBB started. I don't really care to research it.

If you're running into an issue with too many items on the ground causing some to disappear, you need to pick them up.
