It's the current boost on rotation this week as per the normal cycle of boosts on this server (rare drop rate, drop anything rate, EXP, and rare enemy appearance rate). I believe only the anniversary and Christmas events both double the current boost in effect

What happens to Eggs after the event ends? Does the shop remain open for a while to redeem them or is it cut off at Apr 20?

They stick around along with the shop. Just can't obtain them anymore.
