Bonus ending for "The Retired Hunter"?

Is it possible to get the bonus ending of The Retired Hunter in PSOBB?

As far as I read (in this GameFAQ and this thread), this should do it:

1. Donoph asks you something, you have to answer with "!!"
2. Kill 99 monsters
3. Go to Pioneer 2
4. Talk to the FOmarl (near the Principal's teleporter)
5. (You should hear a quest sound and then be able to go to Forest 2)

I talked to the FOmarl, but got no sound, nor does the teleporter allow me to go to Forest 2.

Is this list not correct? Or is this not implemented for PSOBB?

(There might also be an extended ending scene with Donoph; maybe if you have 10+ minutes remaining. -- But this didn't trigger for me, although I had 13 or so minutes left.)

must be at least very hard difficulty
Forest of Sorrow cleared/Tinkerbell's dog cleared
!! is selected
Kill 99 monsters
talk to FOmarl in front of Principals teleporter
Quest Completed

It's worth noting that there are two bonus endings. In order to get the other bonus ending where Donoph gives you a long speech before he dies, you must beat From the Depths, complete the "good" Sue subplot, and also complete the Bernie subplot.
