About Inventory Readers

Recently there's been tools popping up that allow players to peek at other players' inventories, so we'd like to make this clear:

Using any kind of tools to look at other players' inventories on Ephinea is not allowed. If there is evidence that you are using one of these tools for any reason, you will be slapped with an immediate ban, either temporary or permanent depending on offence and frequency.

Looking at other players' inventories is an invasion of privacy and not something we want to condone.

Other Lua addons are allowed.

Does this apply to Soly's character reader plugin?

I just wanted clarification because it displays my inventory.

Only to the version which allows you to see other player's inventory. Soly recently updated his reader to remove that feature, and so using the new version should be okay

Probably because not everything needs a poll and can be an administrative decision.

Is there some way to detect this? Or is this one of those things where you only get caught if you're stupid.
