Fixes:
  • Villainous Rift #1 has been returned to Episode 2 Exterminate with doors instead of walls.
  • A bug has been fixed in Maximum Attack 4th Stage -2B- which caused 3 Mericarols to drop Mericus items instead.
Changes:
  • All quests are now playable in One Person mode, unless the quest boots the player out with less than 2 players. Halloween quests are also still multiplayer only, along with government quests.
  • The Event quest category has been removed.
  • Two new quest categories have been added: Maximum Attack and Solo Only. These are for the quests displaced by the removal of the Event category and quests only playable in One Person.
    • Some other quests were moved as well, such as Maximum Attack 1/2/3 and Random Attack.
The Event category was removed as sometimes it caused confusion with newer players, believing the quests in the category were actually limited time Event quests. The Event category will return, but it will only ever contain actual event quests.

If you find any quests missing or know any quest bugs, please don't hesitate to let me know.

We hope you enjoy playing on Ephinea.

I'm off to bed now so if anything is TOTALLY BROKEN... it will just have to wait until I wake up.

Thanks for this update!

I really hate to ask this since you already made such a great effort here, but would it be possible for us to either receive or have some in-game method to purchase a Section ID change for a limited time following this update (with PDs or something)? The hunt situation has changed for a lot of us now.

I understand if this cannot be done, but it's just a thought.

I got pretty confused when MA2V2 wasn't in VR, but quickly found it under the new category "max attack". I do like how the quests are organized now, it makes way more sense.

It looks like Maximum Attack 4th Stage -2B- now has no timer, however.

Also, I cannot seem to load MA1V2 in One Person. It fails to download and I get the error "Please clear the remaining quests before redoing this one."

And now that soloability is being considered more, I would like to request again that those four-switch doors in Government quests be made openable solo, since there will rarely ever be four people to open them, and perhaps even in regular multi free run maps. They will likely never be the incentive to have four people just to access a couple rooms over regular quests.

I`m curious as to how this is even a thing that can happen.

Apparently within the questfile their ''Subtype'' was set to ''3'' for some reason.

0= Mericarol, 1= Merikle, 2= Mericus.

So having it set to 3 made it a Mericarol with a Mericus drop. Which resulted in dropping Red Scoprio twice while hunting v502 from meris lmao. rekt.

That's a server bug, not a quest bug. The value of 3 is for "Mericarand", which allows the Mericarol to randomly spawn as Mericarol, Merikle, or Mericus each time you make a team and load the quest. Which type you get is synchronised between clients, just like having a rare enemy spawn.

The Mericarol in Episode II Stage3 Jungle East also uses this flag to troll you with Merikles you can't hit and Mericuses you can't damage sometimes, because Sega apparently thinks it's funny to force you to quit and reload the stage if you didn't bring the right classes to beat the RNG.

Didn't read the update when I launched, so imagine my excitement when I boot up solo mode and go to quest and see everything there. Thank you guys
