Hey all! Joined this server about two days ago on a whim with a couple buddies of mine, and I've been absolutely addicted ever since. I owned a Dreamcast back in the day and played PSOv1 offline when I was little, but I only ever beat Normal mode and never made it much farther than that due to my dad not letting me use the Dreamcast's online for anything other than Quake or Unreal (don't ask me how that makes sense). As a result, playing a modified V2 version of episode 1 and (soon) diving into Episode 2 & 4 is going to be quite a daunting task, but so far the community has been nothing short of helpful and friendly, and I greatly appreciate that. I do have some general questions though:
1. When is a good time to start Hard difficulty?
2. Is it worth going through the story mode missions with the Principal?
3. Am I the only one that sees the appeal of playing with the Classic loot system and just communicating and organizing who gets what drops as a team/community?
4. As for Classic loot, since Section IDs are a thing, what determines which loot table is used on item drops? Is the person that deals a killing blow to monsters or the person that breaks the boxes loot table used for drops, or is it some sort of "all tables in the party are used at once" kind of thing?
There are probably many more questions that I'll have coming up, and I'm trying my best to do most of the research myself, I certainly don't wanna be /that guy/.
But yeah, if you want, feel free to add me, I'm down to play with anyone and I'm spending a ton of time on the game so (hopefully) I can get to a decent enough gear and xp level to play with more people soon!
