The more a staff member is currently present and interacting with the players, the more likely they'd probably get a vote here.

That said, I think people do respect tofuman, it's just he hasn't been around for over 4 years (according to the "Last Seen" on the forum information), but he's still is considered a staff member.

Every now and then, he may pop onto Discord and do a quick personal check-in with me (last time we talked was June of 2025), but I think a lot of the current people playing on Ephinea don't really know anything about him because they've never interacted with him.

Thus WHY mew was visably Alarmed when the poll first appeared. Was going to ask to 'Bow out' of the poll due to the potential polarizing affect it could has on All of us. That said, she Was also hoping her constant exposure would motivate other Staffies to be moar 'active' and mingle among the masses~! You know~? =3!
