What to do while grinding to ultimate?

Hey everyone! I'm new to BB and Ephinea coming from only having played offline mode on the GC. My usual pipeline for a character was to beat Dark Falz on VH as soon as possible, get to Ultimate and spend most of my time there. However it looks like Ephinea's got the hard level 80 limit for playing in Ultimate. I've got my Ramarl to this point at level 50, and I'm a bit off of the rails of what I'd normally do for the next 30 levels.

Obvious candidates are to go through episode 2 next, but there's a lot of online content I couldn't play before, so I was wondering, what does everyone find fun to do on the grind to Ultimate? I haven't done blue burst yet, so that's on my list, but I'm also not sure what the best level is to try that out at. I'd also be interested to hear about any questlines that happen to be fun or good for XP!
 
Episode 4 will give you the best XP by a good margin. It also has a number of Technique frames that drop which make for effective early hunts. Ignition Cloak and Congeal Cloak being worth 15+PDs. It's a pretty quick grind honestly especially if you land some of it on XP week.
 
I think the natural progression is to go play through Episode 2 then through Episode 4, but on both of those episodes its literally just playing through all the areas since there's virtually no story. There are designated Government missions for all Episodes, but they require you to play in Multiplayer mode to access so they'll be scaled for multiple people.

Honestly the best thing to do is just to do whatever seems interesting to you. The grind to 80 from 50 is still going to be a bit long and tedious but you have a wide array of quests or things to do in the mean time, I'd look at the drop charts for your ID and find something you want to grind for during your tenure in Very Hard. There are some things in Very Hard that are useful for you going into Ultimate.
 
The Level 80 cap has existed in every version of PSO online. Offline was always progression based.

Anyway I would look at Very Hard drop charts for your ID and see if there is anything with hunting Very Hard in general has some pretty good drop rates. It might be a little better to do those hunts now, while you still gain significant exp. You could also do box runs on PW3 or Endless 4 the latter should be manageable even at low levels with weak gear.

Did you get your Ranger Wall? If not go to gallons shop and get it.

If you are looking to grind experience the same methods mostly apply to lower difficulties as well, but if you are on a first character I would suggest looking for quests with NPCs to tank for you. Episode 4 has 3 of them in the solo section
