Weird intermittent lag.

Hello,

I downloaded the game and installed it a day or so ago. Went on and played briefly, then been on again today. I'm getting weird lag intermittently, lasts for a second or so and at intervals of around every ten seconds or so. I hear my PC's hard drive chug at the time of the lag. I play PSOBB on Ultima too and I don't get this problem on there.

Any ideas?

Try running PSO from a RAM-disk.

Probably the added VMProtect stuff making it slow.

What kind of processor and how much RAM do you have?
