SFX Quiet / Muted / Distorted

I've just fired up Ephinea on one of my older (Windows 7) computers, and the SFX are behaving strangely. As soon as any SFX triggers on the title screen, the BGM becomes distorted. The main game has no such issues but SFX are extremely quiet or muted throughout, despite being set to 100%.

Any ideas?

That BGM thing happens on my computer too, only on the Title Screen. As far as SFX, not really sure. I'd check your Windows sound settings. More so the speaker settings, make sure it's simply set to Stereo may help. You've already checked at the Lobby counter that everything is 100%, I'm taking from your post. **SHRUG**!!!

This may have been a hardware issue with my machine; I switched to a different sound card (I had two in there for some reason) and it seems fine now.

In any case, whatever it was isn't bothering me anymore! Thanks for the quick reply!
