Rappy Runs - farming analysis & video-verified TA leaderboards

Rappy Runs is speedrun.com for Ephinea quests, with automatic recording and farming efficiency stats.

Technically it builds on the public psostats-client. Thanks to phelix.
It is not only for TA. A lot of the work went into features for people who run quests to hunt a specific item.
Finding effective quests
Where should you farm a Heaven Striker?
WOL4, NMU3, MAE4... and is Anguish worth it?
There are many options. By looking at recorded runs, you can see which quest gets you there and roughly how long it takes.
For example, the screenshot below shows the drop efficiency for Daylight Scar in LBA.
Optimize your runs
You can put your own run next to the fastest run and watch both videos room by room.
The fast players clear a room in 20 seconds while you take 30.
If that keeps up and the whole quest takes 1.5x longer, they may as well be running with a 1.5x drop boost.
The comparison shows you where the difference comes from.
Cancel runs as their own category
Runs where you cancel the quest partway had nowhere to be recorded until now.
On Rappy Runs, reaching the end point defined for a rule submits your time up to that point.
Right now there are two: the Gi Gue cancel in PW4 and the Mericarol cancel in GDV.
Just have the client running — when you finish that part of the quest, it becomes your clear time for that rule.

Categories can be added, so if there is a rule you want to compete in, just ask.
Recording and videos
The site and the client app are available in English and Japanese.
A record for the TA boards needs a video.
Recording is fully automatic as long as the client is running.
If you pick record-only mode (not ranked), nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Uploaded videos are private by default. They go public when you press the publish button.
About the client
Like psostats, the Rappy Runs client only reads PSOBB's memory. It never writes.
It verifies the signature of the official Ephinea client, so it will not run with a modified exe or a client for another server.
It records the game audio only, so anything else playing on your PC does not end up in the video.
Videos of abandoned runs are deleted automatically and never uploaded.

ヘブンストライカーを掘る場合、どこがいいのでしょうか？
WOL4, NMU3, MAE4... アングイッシュはつけたほうがよいか？
様々ですが周回結果を見ることでどのクエストで、どれだけの時間がかかるのかの目安を確認できます
例えば上の一枚目の画像ではLBAでデイライトスカーの掘り効率を確認しています
自分の周回を最適化する
自分の周回と、最速の周回とを部屋ごとに並べて二つの動画を見比べられます
高速周回をしている人達は、その部屋を20秒で処理しているのに対し、自分たちは30秒もかかっている
この調子でクエストをクリアする時間が1.5倍違うなら、その人たちは1.5倍のブーストがかかっているのも同然です
その差がどこで生まれているか、この比較で特定できます（上の二枚目の画像）
途中キャンセルを専用カテゴリとして記録する
途中でクエストをキャンセルする周回は、これまで記録として残す場所がありませんでした
Rappy Runsではルールごとに決められた終了地点に到達すると、そこまでのタイムが提出されます
例えば今用意しているのはPW4のギ・グーキャンセルとGDVのメリカロルキャンセルです
クライアントアプリケーションを起動し、そのクエストの特定の地点を終わらせると、それがそのルールでのクリアタイムとなります

また、カテゴリは増やせるのでこのルールで競いたい、という要望があればリクエストしてください
録画と動画について
サイト内とクライアントアプリケーションは英語と日本語に対応しています
TA用の記録には録画が必要です
録画はクライアントアプリケーションを起動しておけば全自動で録画できます
録画とアップロードは、記録専用モード(ランキング対象外)を選べば行われません
アップロードされた動画はデフォルトでは非公開、公開ボタンを押すと公開されます
クライアントについて
Rappy Runsのクライアントはpsostatsと同様に、PSOBBのメモリを読み取るだけで、書き込みは一切しません
Ephinea公式クライアントの署名を検証していて、改造されたexeや他サーバーのクライアントでは動作しません
録音するのはゲームの音だけなのでPC内でほかの音声が鳴っていてもそれらは録画に含まれません
途中で放棄した周回の動画は自動的に削除され、アップロードもされません
