Random Question - Is there a team chat box?

Hi all,

I've tried to Google for this but only chat commands seem to populate in my search.

Easily said, is there a team chat option to see what has been said by party members? Sometimes I'll miss important information if I am in sub-menus or if something is said right before I pipe/warp to a new zone.

Some feedback I've found says to hit F9 on the keyboard but it only displays a blank box on the bottom and I can't scroll or see any previous messages.

Any insight would be great!
 
that is the team chat.

it is empty because nobody is talking in it. probably in discord or something instead.

you are likely looking for the normal chat logs, which are logged in the default install directory. you can view an (extremely short) log in game by opening the menu and going to chat -> whatever the last option was (the name escapes me atm but its probably Chat History or Log or ???)
external addons exist if you want more detailed history in game
