PSOBB EP3 SFX Issue

Am I the only one who can't hear the confirmation sound after installing the PSOBB Ep3 sound pack from the jimdo website? The sound is heard twice here.

I wonder what else isn't working too. For example, I don't even hear items being picked up, and I don't hear any pop-up chat messages. Here's a recent video of me playing with the sound effects package before I uninstalled it.

September 21, 2025, Update: I attached the .pac files with a PAC Manager.exe file from here. Heads up. I'm still on Windows 10. I did have Windows Defender bug me about running the PAC Manager.exe file, but I told it to "Run Anyway" to get back to business.

Here is my common.pac

It has the Ep3 Menu Sounds but it also has a different sound for when you use a consumable. (It's the sound of when you pick up a small energy pellet on Metroid Prime.)
