Regarding friend list: PSO uses guild cards. If you are in the same lobby/party with a player, you can send them your guild card (which you can customize with some text) and receive theirs (which you can add a note to, e.g., for you to remember how you met etc.). Your collection of guild cards represents your friend list. If you have a player’s guild card, you can check if they are online and send them a private message.
