Newcomer to PSO. What's up?

Hello all. I found out about all this thanks to someone posting that Forbes article that featured you guys on Reddit, so I had to jump right in.

I never had a Dreamcast back in the day, but a few years back I managed to snag one for 30 bucks. Then I see it's still possible to play PSO online, one of the reasons I wanted a DC back in the day, with a broadband adapter. Then I saw the adapters price and scarcity. I was very bummed. But now I finally get to give it a whirl! [Disclaimer: I played PS Portable on the PSP and the original Phantasy Star games, but never Online]

So hopefully I can make some friends and find a new game to love. I got everything set up and rocking this afternoon and will be starting to play tonight. In game name is Kaz. If ya see me, stop and say hi!
 
Looks like that Forbes article did some good! Welcome friend.
Nice to see that there are still people who are "new" to this game.

Thanks guys! I'm not on now, but will be starting tonight around 7pm or 8pm central time. And I def can use all the help/friends I can get!

Hey! Sorry I had to jet so suddenly last night! I never really got to thank you properly for all the help and guidance you gave last night. So thank you a ton! I had a lot of fun and look forward to playing with you and V again. And thank you both for putting up with me!
