New with some questions!

Hey folks, I played the Gamecube and Schthack ( about 10 years ago ) versions of this game ( Username was Shado on both if anyone I know is here )

After dipping my toes in I realized that I still have a great love for PSO, but I had some initial questions.

1.How is the Community? It's been hard to find that oldschool feeling of friendliness I experienced way back when the game was new, and I'm hoping its thriving here.
2. Is playing in "One Person Mode" effecting my drops? I think the original had something like this, and I don't want to stunt myself
3. The original and Scthack servers had a lot of dupes, and cheats that kind of killed some of the fun of being a hunter of rare items. Is this server fairly legit?
4. I run a semi popular youtube channel, and would love to feature this game on it. Are there any restrictions on recording this server? ( my channel has ethics, we keep it clean and friendly ) Looonity Channel if anyone wants to see what I'm talking about.

5. Any other nuances about the culture here I should be aware of?

I'm thinking about playing this fairly often again, as modern games feel like slot machines these days, and I'm craving something with heart! I hope to meet some other Hunters and in general just have a lot of fun. See you online!

1) I like to think of Ephinea as the best community on the internet and if not the best, a close 2nd for sure :D
2) OPM does not effect drops whatsoever, so you can comfortably play solo for the easier experience without feeling like you're wasting your time.
3) This server is VERY legit. We ban with the biggest of hammers here if you cheat at all and have many protections against all the classic ways of cheating.
4) No restrictions on recording, just the normal rules which generally boil down to don't be a dick, don't cheat and don't multilog.
5) For the most part nothing you really need to know about the culture aside from us all being fun loving nerds. Sometimes we have some characters who do a bit of trolling, but even they rarely mean harm. The most to look out for is if you find a good item and someone trying to offer you way under its value.

People are friendly here for the most part but you gotta make an effort and talk to them if you want friends XD So bring your best people skills but also keep in mind - Not everyone understands English. Something like 20-30% of the players I see come over from the JP server. There's also notable French and Brazilian communities. I even met a German dude once. Use word select for communication if there's a language barrier.

You probably already know this but if you wanna get fast levels, make a 'TTF help' room and you should summon a OP player within 5-10 minutes (and don't forget to hit the bosses!!!) If you wanna play with others around your level then name the room 'chill leveling' or something like that. If mew is online...there's always good chance you'll 'hear a kitty collar bell in the shadows~ >=3
