Music Discs Consumable?

Kinda had to ask, since the music discs are completely new to me. Can I use them repeatedly if I so choose, or are they one time use? I’ve found three of them now, but I’m hesitant to play them and risk losing them.
 
Yeah the music discs add a little more variety to a run so don’t be afraid to use them when you find them.
 
You can farm them for free in gallons shop besides some of the rarer ones. I guess rapid fire is allowed too despite the macro ban so you can literally just farm them by holding down “a”, you can use burning rangers every single match, this is the true end game, have fun
 
They seem pretty rare to me, but I’d love to be able to farm the Sonic Adventure ones.

Actually, is there a music disk for “Station Square” from SA1 by any chance? For some reason, that one is just always in my mind!
 
Here's a comprehensive write-up on our wiki. TL;DR, you can get one of five of them from Gallon's shop for 30 Gallon points (effectively free), a random one for a single Bronze Badge (event-only item), or a random one from any enemy at a 1/600 rate.

Unfortunately they left out the Sonic adventure discs from the farmable gallons shop ones… rip

But hey, burning rangers is an absolute banger, and who doesn’t mind reminiscing our 3 ex wives with music disc 1, amirite?

What would you consider some of the rarer ones to be out of curiosity?

Rarer ones being all of those that drop outside of gallons shop. Only 1, 3, 6, 7 are available there so the rest are rarer.
There’s also one more way to get them (besides on the floor)… which is the bronze anniversary badge shop

But this is highly NOT recommended because the discs are practically worthless and the bronze can be saved for items with PD value or gambled for potentially high value items
