Mag leveled up incorrectly

Hey, I got on today for the first time in a couple days and noticed that a mag I had been raising to make a chao mag had 38 dex and pow when I had left those at 35. I was thinking about ways I could've messed up without thinking when I realized that my mag had changed form from Madhu to Kaitabha during my last play session, which made me change the item I fed my mag (from sol atomizer to antiparalysis). I'm thinking that there may have been some issue between my side and the server, since the antiparalysis I began to give to my mag would've given those dex and pow levels to my old mag. If anyone could elaborate on what happened I'd appreciate it.

I remember mags having some desync problems when you try to trade them after a feeding session -- which may have made you think it was a certain kind of mag but in fact it is not. This could be avoided if you bank and retrieve the mag after trading I think. This is just a possibility.

While raising one of my tellusis mags I believe I ran into this. During my early lvling stage I lvled 3 mags from 35 to 50 before logging off. When I returned they had completely different stats, and I only logged off for just a few minutes to swap items around. Instead of lvling dex as I intended (to get to 5/23/22/0 path), they lvled dex and mind, which is impossible to mess up accidentally.. I had a different batch of 3 mags in that range for rappies and they were correct....so confusing.

I only had it happen that one time though, out of probably 100+mags

Ive seen this happen between chars from the same source ip address (dual boxing) where trading/dropping a mag or sealed item, shows the wrong updated information for the other box. For mags it can actually mess with the actual mag! But for sealed items its just the wrong name and wil. change back when dropped again(unless the char with the wrong item name logs, then it can be "Use" again and re-unseal, lol.

It has nothing to do with the account / ip you're using.
The server and the client handle mags the same way 99% of the time, but there is still a few cases where they don't behave the same which leads to issues like you see here. It only happens on levels that are intervals of 5 (starting at level 50).
To be sure your mag won't change, feed it up to the next level before giving the mag to a different character. Alternatively, you can bank it and take it out, or change blocks.
