MA4 rare monster bug

Hi all. I am worried that the rare monster appearance in the Maximum Attack Stage 4: 1-A, B and C quests is currently bugged.

The evidence:
  • Last Friday, when the current MSR activated my brother and I ran the start of max attack 1-C about 10 to 11 times hunting for Sange on yellowboze, hoping to see a Mil lily. We didn't see any. We then tried a Pwand hunt on 1-B doing 5 runs. Sadly no rare appearances.
  • On Saturday Pluto_07 and I did about 10 runs on 1-C and 1-B looking for Pwand. No Mills were seen. However, I then ran a Lost Ice Spinner with Bee, Ghost and Milky way. We saw two mil's no problem during the quest. Milky Way and I saw one in Caves 1, and we all saw the 2nd Mil in Caves 2.
  • On Sunday Pluto_07 and I again tried our luck hunting rare lillies. We did about 9 runs spread between 1-A, B and C. We included 1-A this time because we thought maybe only 1-B or 1-C may be bugged. We sadly still saw no rares in either quest.
  • We then did a special quest and saw a mil and red slime in the same run. Later on in the afternoon, we tried a few more MA4 runs with no success.
  • Today we ran more Pwand hunts in 1-C with no success. We also split slimes this time to be sure. Sadly no change.

Now I would say that this is just a case of bad luck as that is usually the case. However during the summer, when doing Pwand or Lavis runs on MA4 1-A, B and C a rare monster would be seen every 5 runs max. It is then quite strange that no rare Lillies or slimes are appearing now in the same quests. Especially with the rare monster appearance being up.

I am therefore worried that the rare monster appearance may be bugged in the mentioned quests as we have seen no rare monsters in 50+ runs. Especially as we are seeing many rare enemies outside of those quests. Pluto_07 mentioned to me that something may have been changed in the quest regarding spawns. I looked for the relevant thread but couldn't find, if it exists. Thanks
 
I haven't seen a single rare lily since summer event ended, despite doing probably 15-20+ ma4b runs.

Saw like 100 rare lilies during event.
 
Well, summer had weekly + event boosts so it would have more. Anyways I hope it aint broke..

EDIT: if someone really thinks MA4 episode 1 C is bugged (since I did it in B), feel free to go test it. It's probably fine lmao. PSO JUST FUCKED YOU.

Yeah, i've come to realise it probably isn't broken. Most likely just a case of extremely bad luck. Although it has to be said that i still have yet to see a rare lily or slime in Ma4 1-a,b,c when we have 2 or more players.

Pluto_07 tested it solo like yourself and saw a rare like you did Skylar, so it shouldn't be bugged. I will still say though maybe it's bugged when 2 or more players are in the party...? As that is what we tested it on (i know that is even more unlikely, ~clutching at straws~)

tl;dr It probably isn't broken, but the fact that we are seeing so many in SPECIAL quest and in HBR compared to very few if none in Ma4 Ep1 is a bit odd too. Wasn't something changed in the quests recently, regarding spawns? @Matt
 
Just FYI, there isn't anything special in regards to how rare monsters are handled in quests, outside of quests or any particular quest. It isn't broken, it's just bad luck.
