im having trouble with the client when i start pso, and get to the main menu / login screen its acting as if the up arrow is continuously being help and its just cycling between start game, exit game, patch download and register user id.



its not an issue with my keyboard no controller connected, no additional software or apps running. only behaving like this in pso

Tried to reinstall and/or change the game location ? If the problem persist (and if it came from nowhere, e.g. you did nothing before it started happening), run some malware/rogue scans (like malwarebyte, rogue killer, adwcleaner...) and a scan from your antivirus.

If it did start after you installed/modified something in Windows, well, try to use a restore point or revert the changes. Maybe a Windows's update fucked something up.

Also check to update/reinstall your keyboard/mouse drivers ? I don't know what's your using.

Maybe it's not related at all by all of that, but, that's all I can think of at the moment.
