Kumara Mag Bug

Report from another user, just posting here for reference.

A mag was received at 5/45/45/0 and fed on a Type-B FOmarl, which made it evolve into a Kumara (POW = DEX > MIND). The user fed the mag Sols and Mates to evolve it into a Sato (5/50/45/0) on the same character, but after relogging the mag turned into a Garuda (5/49/51/4).

Going to theorise that the server is unaware of the Kumara evolution (POW = DEX > MIND on a Type B FO), and evolved the mag into a Marica instead (POW > DEX > MIND on a Type-B FO), and so the mag received MIND from the Sol Atomizers.

For other users, if you plan to make a 5/50/45/0 mag and end up with a Kumara at 5/45/45/0, only feed the mag mates to avoid running into this issue.

We haven't had many reports of any mag issues in like... a real long time. Plus, we kind of copied the evolution code from the ASM of the client. (Just converted to C.)

Weird that whatever happened... happened.

Looking at the code, we're definitely aware of the Kumara evolution. I'll look at the code again to see if something was missed...

So anyway, seems there's an issue with mags not updating when fed by others and passed back, so if you ever receive a mag, reload the mag by banking it or relogging to avoid any issues.
