Japanese PSO:BB Question

I recently came by a physical copy of the Japanese PSO:BB and was wondering if that could be used instead of the DL on the site?

It wouldn’t work. It’s most likely at an earlier patch level and there are probably outdated data files that are missing later patched in weapon textures and other things, which were added after the initial release of PSOBB.
