So i just hit level 80 and I'm not sure what I should be doing in order to gear up. This is my first character so no alts to farm drops with.

my character is a HUcast - Skyly SecID
 
I don't know if there was a "what to do when you first get into ultimate" guide on here. What does your gear look like? I'd make sure to hunt a Smartlink and Heavenly Battle/v101 first. Just play with people, tell them you're new to the server and ask them if they're willing to hunt with you. Most people are pretty helpful on here and there are only a handful of people that don't want to play with "new" players, until you end up carrying them :).
