the Gamecube one is specifically for switch pro controllers with the Gamecube Button Layout, The Switch Profile is for Switch Pro Controllers, and the one labeled Xbox is for General Controllers, even if it was made with a switch pro.

Gamecube: steam://controllerconfig/phantasy%20star%20online%20blue%20burst/2837733422
Switch: steam://controllerconfig/phantasy%20star%20online%20blue%20burst/2837737555
Xbox: steam://controllerconfig/phantasy%20star%20online%20blue%20burst/2837735797

All of them work very similar, Left Bumper lets you use Sub Palette Commands, they follow like this:
LT/ZL/L2 = 1
Left Dpad = 2
Down Dpad = 3
Up Dpad = 4
Right Dpad = 5
Left Face Button (Gamecube is B, Switch is Y, Xbox is X, PS is Square) = 6
Bottom Face Button (Gamecube is A, Switch is B, Xbox is A, PS is Cross/X) = 7
Top Face Button (Gamecube is Y, Switch is X, Xbox is Y, PS is Triangle) = 8
Right Face Button (Gamecube is X, Switch is A, Xbox is B, PS is Circle) = 9
RT/ZR/R2 = 0

If you start holding down Right Bumper while in sub palette mode, you can use your alternate sub palette the same way.
When you're not in sub palette mode, the dpad can be used for F1 through F8 like this:
(Not Holding RT)
Up = F1, Down = F2, Right = F3, Left = F4
(Holding RT)
Up = F5, Down = F6, Right = F7, Left = F8

Lastly, if you're using the Gamecube layout, if you press R when not holding L, it is bound to Start and will open the menu, just like in the gamecube game.
Hope you guys enjoy these configs, and they're completely available to modify if you want to.
See ya around the server!

I might have remembered the GameCube layout incorrectly, but I made a layout with quick map as RB/R1/ZR, it's under the steam name jeff.expgamer if you want to check it out... but I really want to ask you, how do you get the GameCube controller to smoothly run? Cuz I have a Bluetooth GC controller, but it has the octagonal joystick frames, and the game isn't set up for it, so when turning I slow down... I have other options for controllers, and the layout I made works fine on those, but I really like the GC controller specifically for this game lol... I also have a GC switch controller that I haven't tried to setup on my laptop, but I figured I'd ask.

And about my layout, I have it setup with a shift button as L2, and I put the center camera as right stick click, then I use L1 as pickup and PB, R1 as map aka ctrl+M shortcut (have to turn on shortcuts in game) and select is mag menu... shift makes XABY and Dpad into 1-8 and L3 and R3 into 0 and 9... so if you wanted to do second pallette number 8, you would hold both triggers and push Dpad up, or if you wanted to push first palette 1, you would hold L2 and push B (x for xbox, square for PS). I tried to keep everything as default as possible and bolt on the other features... I think I read about yours in this forum and on steam, but I haven't tried it and it sounds like yours might be better for the pallette, but mine would be easier to pickup in game... I'd have to use both to see who's is easier to get used to, seems like yours might be more intuitive once you figure it out, and mine is easier to explain to someone who's never used either, if you get what I mean.

I just realized that on GC controllers, you have to switch B and X in game, and I switch the details and cancel, because for some reason I still want the B button to be cancel, even though it's on the left pallette button, which if I'm remembering correctly is the original settings for GC on almost all games, once you do that my 0-9 goes 1=b, 2=a, 3=, 4=y, left D=5, down=6, right=7, up=8... so it's the same pattern, then L3=9 R3=0.
