Frame rate/latency issues while streaming to Twitch?

I've been meaning to get back to playing and streaming PSO:BB, especially now with the anniversary event live. However, the last few times I've streamed the game, I've had considerable issues with frame rate and/or latency, and I don't remember having those issues the first couple streams. Earlier tonight, I had what felt like a considerable loss of FPS and bad lag, even after re-launching the game and after closing what seemed like a CPU-intensive program running alongside the game and broadcast.

It's possible that the Ephinea client is just not too happy with being played and Twitch streamed on my setup, but I don't know that bandwidth or latency are necessarily the issue here. I've occasionally done FFXIV as well in the past, and those streams always went as expected.

Here are my settings as they were this morning:

Does anyone have ideas for what I could change to test? Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of moving parts to this issue as a whole, but right away I want to suggest that you try disabling "enhanced map draw" in the launcher. I noticed that was a pretty big performance hit for me when I tried using it on release.

It's usually a mix of the Direct3D API and Anti-aliasing. The game originally had only D3D8 and no AA. Start with that, and then adjust after testing.
D3D11 and 12 have a benefit of supporting another device taking control of the GPU (Sega never handled this in the vanilla game, oh well). But one or both of those APIs often performs poorly for people. Not sure why.
