Easy Béchamel sauce (white sauce that go well with a lot of dishs)

Ingredients:
25cl / 1cup of Milk
20g / 0.5lb of Butter
2 Tablespoon of all-purpose flour
salt
pepper

Optional
nutmeg

Preparation:
Melt the butter in the microwave for around 1 minute (make sure it's fully melted).
Take the butter out and add the flour while mixing well.
Take the milk to boil and let it boil for 1 minute.
Pour the milk in the flour-butter mixture and mix well.
Put it back in the microwave for another minute.
It's done! You can add salt, pepper (and optionally nutmeg) until it's good for your tastes.

Tips:
none.
Since you've post a béchamel recipe, I think i could share my tips :3

1- Slowly melt your butter in a pan
2- Stop the heat and add the flour
3- Once you mixed the butter and flour, turn the heat on again and start adding milk slowly
4-After you added all the milk, keep stirring to thicken the sauce until it becomes creamy

PS : I use the exact same crêpes recipe :p

This is what i spam when i know i'll be playing a lot of videogames all night

Game night snack:

-Baguette
-Ham
-Mozarella
-Oregano
-Cherry Tomatoes
(Just make a sandwich with these)

-Smirnoff Ice

*Replace the Smirnoff with proper liquor if depressed (?)

So I have a pasta salad that is super easy

Small shaped noodles- Dittalini or similar
1/4 cup diced green or red pepper
1/4 cup diced Vidalia onion
Your favorite Itallian Dressing with romano
(kosher) Sea salt (optional)

To make:

Salt water, Boil. Add desired amount of noodles and cook through until slightly firm, stirring occasionally. Drain water. Dice onion and pepper and combine with pasta, Mix. Add Itallian Dressing, Mix well. Chill sealed until cold. stir and enjoy.

Since summer is right around the corner but it isn't too unbearably hot yet, I've been using the BBQ as much as possible. Grillin meat and veggies, cool cool, but I've really been digging the potatoes.

Cut up several yellow potatoes into bite size pieces and throw in a big bowl
Slather them in olive oil
Dust them with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and apply the shakes and scoops and tosses
Throw in a sprig of rosemary (or sprinkle some from a bottle if you don't have a bush slowly taking over your front yard like I/my poor next door neighbors do)
Pour it out onto a sheet of tin/aluminum foil and roll it up like a burrito. If you like them more on the dry/crunchy side, poke some holes in the foil.
Apply to the top rack of the BBQ, or off to the side so they aren't in direct heat.
I usually throw them on when I start and take them off last. Figure they need at least 20 minutes.

Sometimes I change up the seasonings and do more of a curry/turmeric blend. Other times it's more of a dill/onions. Honey and mustard are also a good combo.

goodbye ramps!

buds are pickled in an allium and jalapeño brine, tops blended into a quart of butter to use until next spring (not pictured)

and some gratuitous radish porn

PB and apple vs PB and banan.

how can you possibly pick? they are both flawless pairings. the way PB n banan creamy textures dovetail to form a lush, doughy mouthful with a slight yeasty tang. but also the way the sharp crunch and bright acid of an apple cut through the richness of PB, inviting u for another bite.

I'll never know.

i don't care what anyone says. Squid is delicious nomnomnom
Mew will forever be traumatized with the memory of walking the streets of S.Korea and at just about every major traffic light there was a purrson going car to car trying to sell dried squid on a stick...Squid....not Churros...F'kin Squid!!! What made it so bad was, along the streets leading to the intersections were fish tanks full of live squid desperately trying to escape the tanks...mew would see their bodies on the floor flapping and fying as if saying.... "I...i Made it out...I'm Free...e...ee...urk...ack...". Other vendors were like this...

Sup here’s a bad photo of some really nice sun gold tomatoes i ate with cottage cheese, an egg and basil
