Did I Mess Up?

Hey Everyone,

I am coming back into PSO after not playing since the Xbox days and I just made my original character (HUcast) and named it kpanda like I did back when I was a kid... After falling back in love with this game and hitting level 70 I realized there is something called a Section ID (I know I am an idiot for not realizing this was more than just a funny emblem.) I have Virdia am I screwed and should reroll? After doing a little reading apparently HUcast are good with most IDs but how much will this affect my character if I keep leveling to 200 am I permanently hindering my play? I found out you can't change your section ID after 20 as well.

Thanks for the help or any advice!

There is really no screwing up a Section ID. You can't hunt everything on 1 ID regardless of which you pick, but you can hunt most of what you need and trade for the rest.

This game promotes playing in parties (the party leader's SecID will be used for drops, not just your own) and trading with others. You'll be just fine with this as your first character and in the future when you make a new character you can refer to DROP CHARTS and choose another ID for your new character and/or avoid having multiples of the same ID.
