Earlier, I had attempted to buy cat ears at the easter egg shop on One Person Mode. The first time I crashed, I didn't have enough eggs I realized so I went and gambled and managed to get enough.
But then it crashed again despite having 22 eggs *Its 20 for cat ears*
I then tried normal online and was able to buy the cat ears successfully.
Thankfully the crashes doesn't remove the eggs you spent as it crashes before transaction despite pressing yes. But the crash only seems to happen on one player. Thought I should mention it, not sure if it was only me or not.
