Is this with your own server or Ephinea? I haven't heard of "???" items on Ephinea. There is code specifically to fix bad items at ship connection, should there ever be some detected.
If this is on the Ephinea server, maybe your Unitxt or some other files are being corrupted or, not really sure.
If I were you, I'd try to reinstall the game. Also make sure DEP is turned off as that can cause crashing when firing weapons among other things.
If you can withdraw the "???" items, maybe just discard them if you don't know what they are. Strange nonetheless.
