Continued Game Crashing Depsite DEP Settings Correct

I'll preface by saying I've checked most threads in the last 4-5 months about crashing and none of the fixes have helped. Here's what I've tried:

- Reinstalling several times
- Enabling DEP for essential services
- Enabling DEP for all applications except those I state (putting PSOBB.exe as the exception)
- Updating my C++ Redistrutables
- Updating my Graphics Card drivers
- Removing all extra settings in the game and running at multiple resolutions, both windowed and full screen
- Changing between DirectX 7 through 12

Sometimes I can play for 5 minutes, other times it's the moment a gun is blasted off screen. I've tried testing it several times with and without people, both crash randomly. At this moment it's unplayable.

I've attempted to pull the crash in the event viewer, but it's not showing at all. At a real loss on what I can even try next.

What do you mean "it's not showing at all" regarding Event Viewer? Are you saying there is no crash info there (are you checking the correct Windows Logs > Application view on the left)?

If you really don't see anything in Event Viewer, then it sounds like the game isn't crashing but something else on your system is terminating it. I don't know of anything that would terminate the game other than maybe some bizarre antivirus? Windows Defender was known to frequently quarantine psobb.exe and ephinea.dll in the past, but I don't recall it ever causing problems for players where it would kill the process.

I opened the Event Viewer and looked at the correct Windows Logs > Application view on the left, but in all the times that it crashed, I couldn't get a log to show. I did add

On what system are you playing?
PC.

I just attempted again this morning. Last time I was running with a team, this time by myself as a solo RA, got about 2 minutes into Forest 1 before the game crashed to Desktop. Immediately went to Event Viewer, no logs found.

No events for PSOBB, or no events in general? Windows typically generates dozens of events every time the system is started. I know that panel can take a while to load sometimes.

If you really see events but no Error level event for psobb, then psobb.exe isn't crashing. Something on your system is likely terminating it. I don't know what that could be.

There is also a slight possibility that the game's anticheat is terminating the process. If so, you might see something in the EphineaPSO/log/dllerror.log file.

Update, I'm running on 1080 resolution, removed all anti aliasing and other graphical settings, and have just passed the 40 minute mark in gameplay.

As for the event viewer, no events for PSOBB specifically, plenty of other stuff. For now I'll play and see how far I get.
