Say if I wanted to play and try to connect with my home brewed wii u using nintendont to play on ephinea is this an option or no
 
Just wondering if it's possible to connect to these servers via game console
 
Ephinea is a BlueBurst server for BlueBurst clients so it's not possible to connect with PSO GC (Episode I & II) or other game versions.
You can find servers for older game versions via google for instance.
 
I'd just like to add, in case it wasn't clear, that blue burst is basically ep. 1 & 2 like on consoles, but with episode 4 added as well as some new items/game balance. Free download too.

If you're looking for the core PSO experience from consoles, it's still here! (Including playing with an attached controller).
 
So it's not possible to connect to ephinea via wii or wii u 's nintendont
