Can't Type to Enter User ID on Xbox Ally X (keyboard doesn't appear)

I just downloaded Ephinea on my newly acquired Xbox Ally X. When I select enter User ID, the keyboard doesn't appear so I can type. I've checked and IME is not enabled. Right now I'm stuck on the title screen. Any ideas on what settings I should enable/disable in order for the keyboard to appear?

I got it to work! I had to use the keyboard feature through armoury crate while in window mode and I was able to type in my id and password
