If you find PsoBB.exe missing or the game doesn't launch via the launcher anymore, be sure to add the Ephinea folder as a list of exceptions to your antivirus. The Ephinea client has no viruses, but antiviruses can be quick to claim an EXE is a false positive when they don't recognize where it came from.
Once you've added Ephinea to your list of exceptions otherwise known as "The Whitelist", you may have to rename the file PsoBB.pat to PsoBB.exe and then patch again to get back online.
