Howdy, everyone.
I'm a ye olde tyme hunter like most of the people I see around here are. I can recall playing PSO back at a friend's house when I was in middle school and no game has made quite the same impact on my friends and I since. So every now and again I'll check in on what the word is with the Phantasy Star communities. A few days ago this particular site popped up and after reading up on this hardcore mode I figured it would be a wonderful experience to traverse memory lane with my old pals on a game we were once (and some of us still) obsessed with.
So my mission statement is to come, check out the game, regain my bearings, then send word to a handful of old friends (some veterans, some first timers) and give a series of hardcore runs a go, develop new friends along the way, and appreciate the fine work that has been done.
So come Monday, my time, I'll be hopping back aboard pioneer 2 to revisit Ragol with y'all .

Thanks for the warm welcome! It may be a few weeks before we really commit to the hardcore run (we want to get our newbloods acquainted with the game first), but I will for sure he spending the night's this upcoming week hopefully meeting some of you guys. I never played PSO online (only U and O2) so I myself have some learning to do.

That's very encouraging to hear others who have been playing have switched to this server when this will be my first time online with it. I'm very excited.

Yes, I was hoping someone here would recognize my avatar. I'm a huge Combichrist fan, started listening back in 2005 shortly after the Everybody Hates You album was released. And yeah I have a RAmarl on Hardcore named Rain, I hope to see you around. I only get to play at night time after 8 pm Eastern time, I'm married and have a 4 year old child to take care of so I'm rather limited on times when I can play.
 
Right on, man. That will probably work out just fine for us. I have a 5 and 2 year old (dog haha) and spend most of my time outdoors during the sunshine but I work 12s on the weekends.
Yeah man, growing up I got introduced to a small rivet culture which heavily influenced my taste in music. It's kind of upsetting that there aren't (or I just haven't looked hard enough) many new artists that I dig. I love combichrist, fgfc820, psyclon 9, emilie autumn, all kinds of stuff from the goth clubs circa 2008-2012 ish era . I see this as the beginning of a beautiful friendship haha.
