Hello Ephinea! I hope everyone is enjoying the event, I know I am. But for now, let me tell you a story:
Once during better times, I was merely another innocent player like you, humbly grinding for better items & peacefully coexisting with nature on Ragol.
However, this idyllic picture was shattered when I was suddenly & without warning peppered by mountains of in-game mails from players who wanted to buy Monkey King Bars from me.
Not one to be opposed to trading, normally I would be happy to consider such a proposition. There was only one problem though:
I did not have any Monkey King Bars:
The messages kept coming in. I respectfully replied to some of them, trying to helpfully inform them that there must be some mistunderstanding, that someone made a mistake because I did not, in fact, have any Monkey King Bars to sell. But instead of a resolution, more messages kept filling my inbox:
Soon, the unrelenting torrent of mails with Monkey King Bar trading propositions destroyed my brain and I was left a hollow shell of the player I used to be. Fear led to anger. Anger led to hate. Hate led to suffering. I've since lost the ability to trapshoot and I can no longer queue techs from the quick menu or remember any spawns in quests newer than 2018.
So, if you don't want this cautionary tale to happen to you, I suggest buying a Monkey King Bar just to be on the safe side. Like this one:
