Sam's post is correct. The initial post specified a countdown of 42 hours. While this may have been a typo of 24 (or maybe not because 42 is the answer to everything), it's not fair to potential bidders to change it.

EDIT: Oops, I saw the 42 and did the math for 48 hours in my head.

Right, 42 is the answer to everything.

So look, 48 hours from ファビ's first bid at 10:34 PM (PDT) yesterday would be 10:34 PM tomorrow. In that case, Sam's math would check out. At 5:10 PDT, he posted there were 29 hours and 24 minutes remaining. Add those together and you get 10:34 PM tomorrow.

But my initial post specified a countdown of 42 hours, as you noted. 6 hours less than 48. Subtract 6 hours from 10:34 PM, and you get 4:34 PM. At 4:58 PM, I posted that there were less than 24 hours remaining. Which was true. Right?

Oops, you're right. I saw the 42 but did the math for 48.
