The rewards are debatable, but ultimately not important, many would play for 0 bonus. I am advocating a feature that keeps the core reward structure in place and adds an optional level of fun.
Also, 100x wouldn't be the only option, and with how boss battles go, it wouldn't take 100x as much...
All,
I am going to try and keep this fairly short and to the point(as much as you can)
Background:
I've been around as Nuke/Nuclearranger on DC+GC+BB+ SCHT+Ephinea now for 20+ years, which is insane, so that's my perspective on this.
PSO has been a great time for many years, and I love it...
I have a Greenill and a Whitill, what one is better for hunting HG: GULD and what quest is best for this? I am guessing Green in Spaceship, but where would I find hordes of delsabers?
Yea..., I just need a good free day. Maybe on the 7th of January.
Luckily, I have 4 drives/arrays in this pc so backing up is really just moving from C to (D, F, N, or Z)
If anything it can write just fine, but not read.
The value in the registry changes when I edit it from the PSO launcher. I set "Everyone" to full access. Still failing.
To clarify, I have reinstalled the game, deleted the registry entries, tried "Cbank" and watched it edit the registry.
Very...
Deleted registry values, and any PSOs that I could remember. They got all recreated upon reinstall, still going after value 8 or slots 29-32. It's gotta be something due to how I was building my own teth server on this PC. Some dumb thing that I cannot remember.
Also had the registry open as I...
Right, regedit is showing the correct value that the launcher is setting. However the game is always showing 29-32.
My main account has it's characters in CBANK 1 which explains why I never see them.
Really no matter what I do in regedit the game just shows 29-32, it's almost like its reading...
Alright, so I made a brand new account and logged in. Made a character and it's immediately on the last slot. I need to get my PC back to the first slot somehow.
NOTE: The launcher is showing 1-4 and regedit showing bank 0.
edited my char bank directly, set to 0, ran pso directly (no launcher) ABC still came up with the bank value at 0 which is an invalid number (1-4 is 1)
Tried to find some alternate registry location or some weird config file with the client. Failed on both missions. Hmm...I thought permissions...
It's editing my regedit location fine, as in my char_bank value is 5 or 3 or whatever I choose, but it must be reading it from an alternate location or bombing out and defaulting to some random number.
Thoughts?
Wow, that's it.
No matter the slot I choose my ABC character shows. My PC must be stuck on some slot. I was never showing the slot that I chose.
Now, how do I fix that?
So basically,
My account can be opened on my wife's PC but not my PC
My PC cannot open either my wife's or my account but CAN open a newly created character
A MYSTERY! Something has to be messed up with migrated accounts on my PC?
