Problem has been solved! Shoutbox told me to change the resolution, I changed it to a setting that was in the More menu and it worked!

I re-installed it, Defender didn't find anything this time so I figured it's fine now. But it still instantly closes after hitting Start Game. I honestly don't know what this thing is missing now.

I've already added an exclusion to the entire Ephinea folder after going through every possible option on the Readme (and after saving my butt with the dll file, I don't think turning off Defender would be smart for me).
