Not sure if I misread but cmode does not need to be finished in one sitting. A stage, must be. But as a whole, you can stop at any point after finishing a stage :o I am more then happy to help if you message me on discord or ping cmode in the discord :3

The battle mode is for fun like spuz says. More to play with friends to mess around in as the battle mode has some interesting maps to play around in :3
